How My Pricing Works

I don’t charge by the hour or day. Instead, I provide a fixed price for each job, so you know exactly what the work will cost before I start.

I have a minimum call-out charge of £80. For smaller jobs, it therefore makes sense to group a few jobs together to make the visit worthwhile.

For an accurate price, please get in contact for a free virtual or in-person quote.

From start to finish, Matt was fantastic to work with - creative, flexible and really attentive to the finer details. He took the time to understand what we needed and came up with practical, well-thought-out solutions that worked perfectly for our quirky space.

Matt was professional and friendly. Carried out high quality work on our garden fencing. Would absolutely go to Matt for home and garden jobs in the future and would recommend his services to others.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need to view the job in person?

For straightforward jobs, there’s usually no need for a visit beforehand. Simply send me some photos and details via WhatsApp, and I can normally provide a price and get you booked in.

For larger or more complex jobs, I’m happy to visit first, assess what’s involved and provide an estimate before you decide whether to go ahead.

How much do you charge?

Most work is priced per job to ensure you know the upfront costs which includes a breakdown of materials.

I will send you an estimate before the work is agreed upon and often come in at around that cost.

No extra costs are added without full consent from the customer.

What jobs are you qualified to do?

I’m a qualified electrician, but I’m also a great problem solver. Where some tradespeople shy away from helping out in other areas, I like to turn my hand to other jobs. If there is anything I feel is beyond me, I’ll always let you know.

I add, and extend existing circuits. I don’t install new circuits, or change fuseboards.

What jobs don't you do?

I like to try and help where I can in most areas but I normally avoid the following: interior decorating, carpet fitting, tiling, gardening.

Please enquire if you have an odd job and I will let you know if I can help.
